TRIFLES 6

A lonely fowl
The Owl
May howl
Or sigh.

But I
Must needs
Have deeds
To do,

To wit
To woo
You!

THE INCORRIGIBLE

When the sun shines bright
Throughout the night
And the moonbeams fall by day,
Though I may get tight
It'll be all right,
For I’ll go no more astray!

When the fish all fly
And the pigs swim by
And the spinsters go all gay,
Or it's not worth while
To laugh or smile,
Then I'll go no more astray!

When the winter's spring
Or the birds don't sing
Or the rose has no bouquet,
You will find that I
Will heave a sigh
And I'll go no more astray.

I'm afraid I know
I'm a so and so,
But I shall be O.K.,
When the sun shines bright
Throughout the night
And the moonbeams fall by day.
